Relationship Quotes & Lady GA GA

Even Lady GaGa sings about being caught in a bad romance. Most of us have been there and many of us have yet to be there. Either way it does not hurt to have a few supportive affirmations that will help strengthen your inner self-acceptance so that you can be accepting and understanding in your relationships.

Caught in a bad romance...
~It is up to you to decide your options~

Below I have posted a few of my own relationships affirmations. I leave one just about every night as I visit my world of Blogsville~
I encourage you to copy and keep them for your own support system. There is much power in selective words~

~~~~~~~~~~~
~Be true to yourself in who you are ...as only then will you be able to identify the right partner for you~
~Understanding is a vital relationship key as...one can not change nor accept what you cannot understand~
~Self-pity is in the fact that you do not accept the gift of life granted to you as a unique individual.~
~Guys...feelings may not be important to you...but they most certainly are the key to her heart~
~To observe without making judgement... is how one remains aware of their purpose in life~
~It is not to hear what you want to hear, but to hear exactly what partner is telling you~
~Relationships, are like anything worth having ....unique and deserving of respect~
~To accept without boundaries or conditions is to have total and absolute faith ~
~Nothing is so strong as gentleness...nothing is so gentle as real strength~
~True intimacy is in the meeting and understanding of someones needs~
~Desperation is not your friend when deciding on your life's partner~
~When your partner is in need....a friend you should be indeed~
 ~Never underestimate your partners reasons for loving you~
~You must Love...if you want to be loved~
~Relationships are about ..relating~
Some very true facts, you hit the nail on the head. Self pity I think goes hand in hand with a bad breakup.
I hope your week is going great.
Hi, Dorothy :)
i love reading those affirmatives, especially 'Desperation is not your friend when deciding on your life's partner'.
Many women choose wrong partner when they get older n lonely. Because they don't wanna b lonely and they want other people see that they have a partner. Oh, blame the society!
As a result, they end up on unhappy marriage, or even divorce.
The only time I was caught in a bad romance was when I dated an already engaged guy. Even if we had a potential relationship, still, everything started out wrong therefore it did not succeed. However, even bad romance can still bring up good results. The reasons you learn from it and the ability to grow through can give way for the next perfect relationship.
Thanks a lot for sharing D! Another thoughtful post :)
I love all of these quotes. Thank you for sharing. I'm sure most people can relate to having a bad romance. I believe you have to love yourself first before you can love anyone else.
The video was so apt and a great part of your post. I am going to copy your nuggets of wisdom and put them in a place where I can view them often. We all need to learn. It's a life-long process, isn't it?
Many hugs to you dear D!
Never underestimate your partners reasons for loving you~
I liked all of these, but this was my absolute favorite. Loving yourself is the first step to being in a loving relationship.
We can't rely on the other person to fill us up.
Great relationship quotes! My favorite has to be "Be true to yourself in who you are ... as only then will you be able to identify the right partner for you." Most of the time, when we meet the special someone, we would want to show the person our best side. We may not necessary put on a false front but just want to show our best.
However, when the relationship develop, we start to show our true self and that is the time the other person may be caught off guarded.
In short, just be ourselves. If the other person can't accept us, there is always the next.
ooo I love "Never Underestimate Your Partners Reason for Loving You".
this is one that I see constantly in my life. Hubby Loves Me and sometimes he may get on my nerves, but no doubt I get on his too. so we never underestimate our capacity to adjust our limit for each other. he is such a stinker, but I just love him to pieces.
Excellent Post as always Ms.D
If one has good self-esteem I believe they are going to be less likly to make some wrong choices.
Ladies and men with good self-esteem fall in love for the right reasons. I was once on the wrong side of the fense until I wised up and realize I didn't need this. Relationships should always be built on respect for each other.
